Administrative Fee:
For the first time, we are requesting a $100 per person administrative fee for the coming year. We have come to this decision with some sadness. However, we have had to face the reality that insurance reimbursement does not adequately cover the cost of running an intimate, personalized service like ours. We prefer to implement a program like this than drop our participation in your insurance plan or compromise the quality of the care you have come to expect from us.
What do you get for this fee? You will continue to enjoy the same high quality individualized care that we have always striven to provide. We will continue to be able to schedule longer than average appointment times; we will continue to be available to you at all times by email, phone, or text; we will still be able to provide urgent visits in a timely manner.
While this fee is voluntary (we do not want to impose financial hardship), we pledge to continue to give you the care to which you are accustomed and to strive to improve both the quality and efficiency of our office. We will reassess next year, based on the outcome of the 2011 program.
